Trauma-Informed, Integrative Therapy for Teens and Adults

Rachael Loxston is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor 17849 Supervised by Erin Baker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist

My work as a therapist is shaped by lived experience across five countries and a deep respect for how culture, identity, and life experience shape the way we carry stress, trauma, and change. I work with adolescents and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or navigating major transitions in their lives.

I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach that supports both emotional insight and nervous system regulation. My work blends evidence-based trauma treatment with somatic (mind-body) approaches to help clients feel more grounded, present, and connected to themselves.

I am trained in EMDR therapy and use it to support trauma processing in a structured and supportive way. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Jungian-informed concepts to help clients understand internal patterns, protective responses, and the different “parts” of themselves that often develop in response to stress or trauma.

My experience includes supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, identity development, emotional overwhelm, and complex life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, including individuals recovering from human trafficking and substance use treatment environments.

At the core of my work is the belief that healing happens through safety, awareness, and self-trust. Therapy is a collaborative process focused on helping you feel more grounded, emotionally regulated, and connected to yourself and your relationships.
